GOOD NEWS!

The first test pressings have landed!

Test pressings are the part of the vinyl production process where the pressing plant makes a gang of - you guessed it! - test pressings, to make sure everything sounds as amazing as it is supposed to.

Here's something crazy. These first test pressings are for the Be A Plumber 7"... Be A Plumber, of course, is the first official Meaningwave song ever released. And the week these test pressings arrived was exactly 4 years after we first released that song.

What do I always say about synchronicities, and how they're signs from the almighty that you're on the path...?

Incredible.

As you know, due to Tom Hanks Disease Related disruptions to the legal immigration system, my family and I were forced to leave the US at very short notice, with just a few suitcases, and are currently marooned in an Air B and B in Mexico, without access to my studio or a record player. Therefore we have a team of TRUSTED EXPERTS in Texas and North Wales who will be testing the vinyl for us, and I shall be delivering their findings shortly.

SPEAKING OF TOM HANKS DISEASE RELATED DISRUPTION!

We have confirmed that there is indeed currently a global vinyl supply chain disruption underway, which has pushed ALL international vinyl production back months. After learning of the delays from our manufacturer over the past month, we looked into potentially switching suppliers, but after investigating pressing plants across the world, we have confirmed that the issues are affecting the entire global vinyl production chain, and therefore switching suppliers at this stage would only delay the process further.

Current delivery estimates have us shipping the finished vinyl to your blessed door this winter.

The good news is we had our orders in before the supply chain issues kicked in, so we are at the front of the queue, and the process is moving, as we've recieved those first test presses.
